what a first week...

first week of spring quarter wasn't that bad. i must say, however, that it was one of the most stressful weeks i have had in a long time. i was more stressed out during first week than finals week. this is how i break it down. first week involves all the leg work, running around, crashing classes, buying books, settling in, which involves groceries, buying toiletries etc. so you can imaging the immense pain in the ass it is to go through first week. at least with finals week, you can stay in your room or in the library and you're good. you don't need to run around and do a million things at once...so yada yada yada...

the highlights of the week was when I had the ultra FOB moment of going to the TFC 10th Anniversary Special: ASAP Global Mania. Now, you TFC heads will know EXACTLY what I'm talking about...anywho...i'll try to find a way to post those pictures up...damn...

it was interesting to see all those filipino actors/celebrities without all that bad quality reception you usually get when you watch ANYTHING filipino...we bought the 20 dollar crappy tickets, but ended up moving to the floor later on...i was able to see all those folks up close...who was there...mickey ferriols, martin niviera, joey albert, the hunks (diether ocampo, bernard palanca, carlos agassi, and jericho rosales), heart evangelista, vina morales, among other people...there was too many to count...

the show..was "eh"...there was a lot of dead time when they were broadcasting from the philippines, so people started to boo and so martin came out and did some random song...

all and all the night was interesting. never in a million years would i expect myself to go to one of those things, but it was one of those one time deals.

i need to do homework now...till then!

Back Again...

So yes...here I am...back again...in Santa Cruz...oh school. I had probably the most wonderful Spring Break in years! I got to spend it with the family and some really awesome new friends, who could ask for anything better/more. I am hoping the next 11 weeks go by just as fast as the last 11 weeks of Winter Quarter.

The weather has been really great recently. Nothing like piercing hot weather to dehydrate yourself. On the real though, I am happy that the sun is finally done hibernating. It tends to put me in a better mood when the weather is crackin. ha.

I am already making rough plans for the summer. First of all, I might need to take summer school to make up some courses in which I bombed, my freshmen year. Far be it for me to let myself fall behind, yet again. I am also in the planning stages of starting an internship @ law firm this summer as well. I'd really like to get my feet wet in that department, it could only help me out in the long run. The money doesn't have to be so great, I just need the experience and the credentials. I also want to go to Cancun or (in a perfect world) bask in the tropical sun of Thailand's beaches as I sit on a wicker mat sipping my exotic alcoholic beverage. Oh how I wish.

Such a trip! Today I bought this interesting book that much hype had brought to my attention: The Da Vinci Code...I must say from the small portion I have read, this is indeed an interesting book. Now as I blog this, there is an ad for the book on the banner of this page. At least it made me remember to include it in my post.

Today was first day of classes, and let me say...What the fuck! I had one class at 7pm and it lasted about 15mins before my professor let us out. He's a cool prof though, I had him last quarter and I did well, so I am assuming that I will be able to pull my shit together, yet again, for this quarter.

Currently in bliss right now...just relishing the fact that Spring Quarter goes by the fastest...and that I'm done with my GE's now...what!!! till then...peace

P.S. too bad we can't say what we're listening to as well...so I thought I'd make it easier...

...home at last...

finally...after a whirlwind excellent week in sunny san diego...i have returned to sunny los angeles. im glad im back here...it's been a while since i have had the comfort of my own home...winter break was the last time i was here.

today was great...after feeling a little hung over and sluggish from last nights suare, mark picked me and lj up and met up with mikee and clarione @ fashion valley. we all did some necessary expenditures via plastic @ express...what a wonderful concept. it was such a great day, such a beach day i must say.

we hit up this new "Jack in the Box", it's more of a spawn really...it's called JBX...in Hillcrest. it's really retro artsy-esque...for more on this check out on mikee's site...it was just awesome...the menu was totally different and they had this "health conscious" approach to the otherwise, artery clogging burgers...

we headed back to the apt to finish some last minute packing...folks came...ate @ hometown in mira mesa...then headed home...what a wonderful prelude to an even greater spring break...

currently on a janet binge...bumping and developing a mental 8 count on track 3 "sexhibition" it's so poplockable!

I am also on a technology binge...i feel like im not using this computer to its fullest extent, i am devoting the next few weeks for milking this sleek, sexy apple machine for what its worth...I also need a new phone...I need to stop this nonsense...good night world, oh and don't be afraid to drop a line...
